...us--nine years ago today. Our ninth anniversary was one we will probably always remember. Was it because we had an amazing dinner, or went dancing, or had a romantic get-away? Nope. We celebrated our ninth anniversary by getting sick. Kate also celebrated our anniversary by being sick. Kate has been having a lot of problems with sinus infections over the last month and a half, and this infection has not gone away. Since she has been on the antibiotics for a week with no change the doctor wanted to see us in the office this morning. After the last few weeks between Amanda's gall bladder, sinus infections, and stitches the doctor's office was the last place any of us wanted to be.

Oh well. Such is life, right? We decided to remember the day, but to officially celebrate our anniversary in July. As you can probably tell by the picture, we were not at our best today. The good news is I can say without hesitation that we love each other and plan to have a lot more of these anniversaries to make up for today!
