Friends, Football, & a Bus!

...Kate starting to really play with friends. Oh, and she got to ride a bus. If you know how much she likes to talk about buses, you understand how big of a deal it was. I'll get to that. Saturday I had to work the Texas Tech vs OSU football game for most of the day. So, Amanda and Kate went an spent the day with our good friend Kristi and her two kiddos Sydney and Logan (her husband Jeremy was at the game too). Kate and Logan are about 9 months apart and they always have fun playing (as you can see from the picture above and below).



Logan's sister Sydney however was enjoying her time playing on someone's cell phone.


On Tuesday Kate's CDRC class took a field trip to the Corn Maze...on a school bus. Amanda was able to go with the class, and they had a blast.





This is Kate's friend Hannah. Hannah and her parents, Michael and Angie, came over and had dinner at our house on Sunday night. It was so cute to watch the girls play in Kate's room. Angie and Amanda are really good friends, and Angie was also able to go on the field trip--so all 4 girls had fun spending the day together.

We have discussed Kate's love of pumpkins on the blog before. She had a lot of fun watching the farmer cut the pumpkin off the vine.

She loved the pigs. We are going to have to buy a farm one day so she can play with cows, pigs, dogs, and cats.
