...Kate's first day of college. Well, more like the first day she got to see her new daycare classroom that happens to be on the college campus. Kate officially starts two days a week on Tuesday, but Friday we got to come in and see the room and let her play without having to leave her yet. You can see with the picture above she was skeptical at first. She clutched her bear and sat still for about 5 minutes taking it all in, but then she dropped the bear and crawled off to play and explore. She has great teachers Tracy (see blonde teacher below) and Donna (not pictured), and made a new little friend that morning Madison. The nice thing is that her building is directly opposite my building, so she's only about 200 yards away. She had a great time playing on Friday, but was exhausted. I'm thinking she will sleep really well on nights she goes to school.
