...Kate's love of the outdoors, in spite of being sick. Like usual Kate was sick while in Oklahoma, or "Homa" as she says. However, that didn't stop her from spending most of her waking moments outside. It doesn't hurt that both sets of grandparents have great yards. My mom's yard looked amazing. Her trees were blooming and her grass was...wait for it...GREEN. That's something we don't get to see much here on the brown side of Texas. At Papa Ron's house there are cows. I'm pretty sure Kate will be a vet judging by her love of all things furry.
